First of all I just want to say Happy New Year. I hope it has started well for you. I know that usually a new year comes with a new year’s resolution, a list of changes that you want to make, but I just want to urge you not to place too much pressure of yourself. Realistic goals that you are able to attain are better than overly optimistic goals that are never met.
I have decided that this year I don’t want to make any resolutions. I am continuing on with the changes I started last year. Continuing to build on the dreams that I started last year and continuing to build on the faith that is planted within. I feel life comes with enough pressures on its own, this year I am determined not to place any additional and unnecessary pressure on myself. I just want to be happy and at peace this year and onwards.
It’s not a new year, new me. But definitely a new year and more healthier in mind, body and soul ‘me’ I hope.
This year I want you to be a little bit more kind to yourself, try to do things that makes you that little bit more happy and don’t be afraid to cut off anything that proves to be unhealthy in your life, even if it is friendships or relationships that you have held onto for years.
This year stop looking around at others and focus on perfecting what you have. Remember that there is enough space for us all to shine together and you have what it takes to succeed.
You are great and you deserve to be happy. So as we enter into the new year, I just want to wish you a happy, prosperous and joyful year ahead.
